Blodgett 1048 BASE Description
The Blodgett 1048 BASE is a base-only gas deck type pizza oven that adds one 10” tall baking compartment to your production line. This unit can be stacked on another existing unit of the same model or an equipment stand, so you can upgrade your daily production capacity without hassle. The oven can cook a large batch of pizza at a time on the 48" wide, 37" deep Rokite stone deck that is resistant to corrosion, moisture absorbing, and through Quick Heat Technology, the heat is dispersed evenly throughout the cooking surface so that the pizza cooks consistently with an impeccably crisp crust no matter where they are placed on the deck. The temperature ranges from 300 degrees Fahrenheit all the way to 650 degrees, adjustable from the snap throttle thermostat so you can cook all your pizza recipes from the same powerful oven.
Dependably constructed to deliver topnotch baking performance for many years, this gas-powered pizza oven has stainless steel top, front, and sides for easy cleaning and rust resistance and a full-angle iron frame for stability. Insulation is provided by vitreous fiber to ensure temperature consistency during operation and to enhance the rigidity of the commercial oven. Aluminized steel is used on the combustion chamber and compartment lining for high heat resistance.
The burner system easily accessible from the fastening-free burner door features two free-floating duplex-tube burners that assist in uniform heat distribution while the air shutters on the air mixers are adjustable so you can fine-tune the flame to your liking. The burners are removable as well as the orifices, so they can be cleaned and replaced with no fuss.
The main gas, safety pilot, and temp control valves are concealed inside a covered ventilated compartment that can be accessed from the front of the unit for quick servicing and maintenance. The doors are robust for added protection but are spring-assisted to alleviate the physical strain when opening and closing the doors during a full day of baking.
Available in both natural gas and liquid propane models, the Blodgett 1048 BASE gas deck oven meets cETLus and NSF standards and comes with a two-year warranty on parts, a one-year warranty on labor, and an additional three-year door warranty.
