The Beverage Air SPED72HC-12M-2 Elite Series™ Mega Top Refrigerated Counter is a full-featured prep table that will streamline the workflow in your kitchen. Two reach-in sections and two refrigerated drawers provide lots of space for larger items while 12 ⅙-size pans in a cold bunker on the countertop provide essential prepped ingredients fresh and close at hand. Larger items can be stored in the refrigerated drawers or reach-in sections below the worktop that provide a total of 20.0 cu. ft. of storage. Full-size pans up to 6" deep can be stored in the drawers while epoxy-coated steel wire shelves (2 per section) are included to maximize the useable space.

Sandwich and salad ingredients are kept nice and cool between 41°F and 33°F to maintain freshness in an easy to access cold bunker with a stainless steel lid and hood assembly. A 17” deep extended cutting board proves tons of space to work on sandwiches, salads, or prep ingredients. The cutting board is secured firmly but can be removed easily for cleaning. Additional counter space next to the cold bunker allows for items that don’t require refrigeration such as sauces, condiments, or tools.

The liner of the reach-in cabinets is made from aluminum which is easy to clean and corrosion-resistant. The stainless steel doors keep the cold air in using snap-in gaskets that are easy to remove for maintenance or cleaning. The interior of the reach-in sections is subjected to enhanced airflow which keeps the temperature between 36º and 38ºF to maximize shelf-life.

The fast access drawers feature slides with a locking mechanism that keeps them from being accidentally pulled out of the cabinet. Stainless steel frames support the telescoping drawer slides allowing the drawers to open with minimal force. The temperature inside the drawers is constantly maintained between 36º and 38ºF.

The refrigeration system installed at the bottom of this refrigerated counter uses environmentally-friendly R290 refrigerant which is hydrocarbon-based. An efficient ⅓ HP compressor providing 1549 BTU/hr of cooling makes sure everything stays nice and cool. For convenience, this unit has an automatic defrost system which is non-electric.

This unit is configured to use standard 115v/60/1-ph power and comes with an eight-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug set.
