The SPED60HC-24M-2 Elite Series™ Mega Top Refrigerated Counter from Beverage Air is a large fully featured model with two refrigerated drawers and a single reach-in section for quick access to more ingredients while two dozen  1/6 pans in two refrigerated bunkers allow for convenient salad or sandwich prep. The drawers and reach-in sections provide 16.02 cu. ft. of cold storage. The drawers are designed to hold pans up to 6" deep for storing larger amounts of prepped food while the reach-in sections each have two epoxy-coated steel shelves for organizing items. 

The reach-in refrigerator section below the worktop has 2 epoxy-coated wire shelves to maximize the usable space while making organizing items much simpler. The interior of the refrigerated section is made from durable and corrosion-resistant aluminum which is easy to clean. A self-closing door makes sure that a temperature between 36º and 38ºF is maintained as efficiently as possible. However, for convenience, the door can remain open when opened to 120˚. 

The easy to access drawers have slides featuring a locking mechanism that prevents them from being completely pulled out accidentally. For effortless access to ingredients, stainless steel frames support the telescoping drawer slides. The temperature inside the drawers is constantly maintained between 36º and 38ºF to maximize the shelf life of stored food.

A full-width polyethylene cutting board provides plenty of space to work on sandwiches or salads. The cutting board is secured to the counter but can be removed easily for maintenance or cleaning. The 24 pans are kept between  41°F and 33°F through optimized airflow in the refrigerated bunkers. 

A self-contained bottom-mounted refrigeration system with a ⅓ HP compressor providing 1549 BTU/hr of cooling capacity provides efficient cooling. Eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant that meets all environmental regulations is used. Automatic defrosting is accomplished with a non-electric system.

This unit is configured to use standard 115v/60/1-ph power at 5.4 amps. An 8’ power cable with an integrated NEMA 5-15P plug comes standard.
