If you're looking for a large refrigerated prep table then the SPE72HC-30M Elite Series™ Mega Top Refrigerated Counter from Beverage Air is an obvious choice. With three reach-in sections and thirty 1/6 pans divided into two countertop sections for ingredients, this prep table is an ideal platform for creating salads and sandwiches. Larger items can be stored in the three refrigerated sections below the worktop with a total of 20.02 cu. ft. of space. The items are easy to access and organize thanks to the two epoxy-coated wire shelves included for each reach-in section.
The doors to the reach-ins are self-closing to make sure the interiors stay between 36º and 38ºF with as little power draw as possible. For convenience, the doors can be opened past 120° and they will remain open allowing you to work without needing to hold a door with one hand.
The worktop consists of a cutting board that runs the full width of the unit providing plenty of space to do prep work. The cutting board is easily removed for cleaning. The pans included with this refrigerated counter are made from durable, easy-to-clean white polyethylene plastic. The refrigerated pan storage doesn't occupy much room on the worktop providing plenty of space for additional items such as sauces or ingredients that don't require refrigeration.
The self-contained refrigeration system at the bottom of this prep counter has an efficient â…“ HP compressor with 1549 BTU/hr of cooling capacity. Cooling is efficiently provided with eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant that meets all environmental regulations. Automatic defrosting is achieved with a non-electric system.
This unit is configured to use standard 115v/60/1-ph power at 5.4 amps. An 8’ power cable with an integrated NEMA 5-15P plug comes standard.
