The Beverage Air SPE27HC-12M-B-DS Elite Series™ Dual Side Mega Top is a dual-sided prep table with a single refrigerated reach-in section. The worktop features cold storage for 12 ⅙ pans accessible to users on either side. The side with access to the reach-in refrigerator has a 12” deep cutting board and the opposite side has a 12” deep one, both are removable for cleaning and run the full width of the workspace. The reach-in section provides 6.91 cu. ft. of space on two epoxy-coated wire shelves.

The reach-in section features an aluminum liner that is easy to clean and corrosion-resistant. The stainless steel door is self-closing to make sure a cool 36º to 38ºF is maintained with as little power consumption as possible. When multiple items need to be moved in or out of the reach-in section the door can be opened to 120˚ and it will automatically stay open. The door features snap-in door gaskets that are easy to remove for maintenance and cleaning.

Both sides of the unit provide access to the ingredients and condiments inside the refrigerated pan section through its own lid. Sandwich and salad ingredients are kept nice and cool below 41°F with optimized airflow to maximize the shelf life of products.

The bottom-mounted refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and a ⅙ HP compressor to efficiently provide 1140 BTU/hr of cooling. The refrigeration system features full electronic control and an epoxy coated evaporator coil to maximize efficiency.

An eight-foot-long power cord comes prewired with a NEMA 5-15P plug set to connect the prep table to a standard 115v/60/1-ph power outlet.

• Cabinet Construction
  • A plug in type vinyl magnetic gasket is attached to each door for positive seal. 
  • Removable hoods and insulated lid(s) assemblies are made of matching stainless steel.
  • Six-inch casters, 2 with brakes, are standard. 3-inch casters and 6” legs are available as an option.
  • Exterior construction includes heavy-duty stainless steel finish on front, back, sides, top, and door(s). 
  • Cabinet insulation is CFC and HCFC-free foamed-in-place polyurethane of two-inch minimum thickness. 
  • Doors are mounted to face of cabinet on cartridge style hinges permitting them to self close. Hinges also allow doors to stay open 120°. 
  • Two epoxy-coated steel wire shelves per section are supplied as standard. Pans furnished are 4” deep and made of polycarbonate plastic.
  • Door handles are made from extruded aluminum with a black anodized finish. They are contoured to permit easy opening of doors with fingers from both top and bottom of handle.
  • One (1) 10” deep and one (1) 12” deep, full length removable cutting boards constructed of high-density white polyethylene plastic are supplied with cabinet. These are readily removable for cleaning. 
• Refrigeration System
  • More robust refrigeration system provides added capacity and efficiency. 
  • Automatic condensate evaporator is provided to eliminate the need of floor drains. 
  • Recirculated, forced air from evaporator is moved under pans, which are recessed 2” from top of cabinet. 
  • Forced air over the condenser is drawn through grille under door as well as the back and bottom of cabinet.
  • Systems are designed using CFC and HCFC-free R134a refrigerant and capillary tube between condenser and evaporator.
