With a glass door, the HBF49HC-1-G Horizon Series Freezer from Beverage Air is a great choice as a merchandising unit for self-service or back-counter use. With 46.2 cu. ft. of cold storage available inside this freezer's two sections, items are easy to organize.

The stainless steel interiors are lit with efficient LED lighting that will last for many years and keep the interior cool. Six epoxy-coated wire shelves provide plenty of space to organize items and maximize the usable space. Both doors have their own anti-microbial handles that allow users to access items easily while providing an additional layer of sanitation. The doors also have a stay-open feature which is handy when users need to access multiple items, this feature is activated when the doors are opened to 120º.

At the base of this freezer, the self-contained refrigeration system provides efficient cooling with a ¾ HP compressor that produces 2312 BTU/hr of cooling. Food is kept frozen at below 0ºF to maximize shelf life. This temperature is maintained with full electronic control for efficiency. An epoxy-coated evaporator coil will make sure efficient cooling will be maintained for many years. To keep the refrigeration system running as efficiently as possible while minimizing downtime this unit features automatic electric defrosting. R290 Hydrocarbon refrigerant is used for efficient cooling that meets all environmental regulations.

For convenience Beverage Air normally ships this unit on 6” casters allowing it to be moved easily. It can also be ordered with 3” casters or 6” legs without an increase to its price. Connecting this unit to a standard outlet supplying 115v/60/1-ph power at 11.0 amps is simple with the factory-provided 8-foot power cable with a NEMA 5-15P plug set.
