The Beverage Air HBF23HC-1-HG Horizon Series Freezer is a tried and tested model that many establishments depend on. This freezer's two sections offer a total of 22.5 cu. ft. of refrigeration that is easy to organize and access.
The sections come with a total of three epoxy-coated wire shelves to maximize the amount of usable space. The LED lighting is much more dependable than incandescent or fluorescent solutions while producing much less heat which saves on refrigeration costs. Both the doors on this unit provide easy access to items with anti-microbial handles that provide an additional layer of sanitary protection. Doors are self-closing to make sure they are always completely closed which saves on power costs. The doors also have a stay-open feature that is activated when they are opened to 120º and allows users to easily handle multiple items with both their hands.
The self-contained refrigeration system at the bottom of the unit makes it easy to access for service and raises the bottom sections from the ground. The ¾ HP compressor produces 1927 BTU/hr of cooling. Food is kept frozen at below 0ºF to maximize shelf life. This temperature is maintained with full electronic control for efficiency. An epoxy-coated evaporator coil will make sure efficient cooling will be maintained for many years. To keep the refrigeration system running as efficiently as possible while minimizing downtime this unit features automatic electric defrosting. R290 Hydrocarbon refrigerant is used for efficient cooling that meets all environmental regulations.
The unit can be configured with 3” casters or 6” legs at no extra cost but come standard with 6” casters allowing it to be easily moved into and out of place for cleaning. An 8-foot power cable comes from the factory prewired with a NEMA 5-15P plug set for use with standard 115v/60/1-ph power.
