Piper Products blast chillers have a blast-chilling temperature range of 194°F to 37°F and a blast-freezing temperature range of 194°F to 0°F.
The countertop reach-in blast chillers have a chilling capacity of 17.6 lbs and a freezing capacity of 11 lbs. The bottom-mounted undercounter models have a chilling capacity of 40 lbs and a freezing capacity of 26 lbs. Both models can store 1–5 full-sized food pans.
Piper Products offers standalone models of their reach-in blast chillers. They come in sizes that can accommodate 6-9 and 10-18 full-sized food pans. They have a chilling capacity of up to 242.50 lbs and a freezing capacity of 132.27 lbs.
The roll-in blast chiller is available as a freestanding unit with a remote compressor. These models, designed for high-volume restaurants and cafeterias, have a chilling capacity of up to 463 lbs and a freezing capacity of up to 298 lbs and can store 26 - 40 full-size food pans.
Piper Products roll-thru blast chillers can handle up to 60 sheet pans or 120 steam table pans and have the capacities to hold 1 to 3 racks. We supply them in a freestanding design with a remote condensing unit. Their chilling and freezing capacities are 1389 lbs and 893 lbs respectively.
For optimal thermal efficiency, the blast chillers from Piper Products have a copper evaporator coil equipped with a high-cooling aluminum fan. They have a stainless steel exterior and interior, with a stainless steel Scotch-Brite surface on the outside. Additionally, they have 100° self-closing doors, 3.15" polyurethane insulation, and magnetic door gaskets for secure sealing to maintain the machine's temperature.
