Unlike most fryers with multiple burners in separate heat exchange tubes to evenly heat oil, Vulcan’s ThreePass™ heat transfer system uses a single burner chamber that splits off into two heat exchange tubes that double over themselves to apply more heat to the oil while burning much less gas. With 60% cooking efficiency and 72% thermal efficiency, each fryer only uses 5,575 BTU/hr to maintain its cooking temperature when idle and during startup the SoftStart™ ignition system uses 45,000 BTU/hr which extends the life of the frying oil.

The digital display on this fryer provides accurate temperature control between 200° to 390°F allowing for fast recovery. Cooking can be timed with compensating time or actual time with two countdown timers. For added convenience, this fryer features auto boil-out mode, electronic ignition, and three melt modes.

This fryer system’s KleenScreen PLUS® filtration system uses a stainless steel mesh to remove most particles. The filtration system is protected by a filter vessel made from 18 gauge stainless steel. If you need to filter out particles down to .5 microns, optional KleenScreen PLUS® filter envelopes can be ordered. To make sure filtration is done as quickly as possible oil is circulated at a rate of 8 GPM by a ⅓ HP pump motor.

This fryer is designed to stand up to the rigors of daily commercial use with a stainless steel cabinet and fry tank. This fryer comes standard with adjustable 6” casters to make it easy to move around for cleaning and maintenance. It also comes with a clean-out rod, twin fry baskets with plastic coated handles, and a tank brush.

The total gas input of this fryer is 360,000 BTU/hr and comes complete with a NEMA 5-15P cord and plug to connect it to a 120v outlet.
