The Univex MG42 Meat Grinder is a heavy-duty floor standing model designed to process up to 3,968 lbs of product per hour. That’s literally tons of ground meat every hour when this machine is being used at full tilt. Commercial Grinders like this are perfect for butcher shops, supermarkets or any other enterprise that requires the capacity to efficiently grind tons of meat.

A ¼” plate comes standard with this model along with a stainless steel knife that is self-sharpening. To reduce downtime and expedite cleaning, the grinding set easy to disassemble. To stand up to high-performance output, a tempered steel worm pin is used. At the top of the unit is a large feed hopper designed to hold a large amount of product. For the safety of operators, a safety microswitch is included in the hopper. A square feed neck allows for easy manipulation of the product with the product pusher and faster processing cycles. If a finer consistency product is desired, ground meat can be reprocessed multiple times until the desired consistency is reached.

Corrosion-resistant AISI 304 Stainless Steel makes up this unit making sure it is durable enough for many years of commercial use.

This unit uses a powerful 7 HP motor with a water-protected gearbox cooled and lubricated by an oil bath. This unit uses 220v/60/3-ph power and uses 13.5 amps at full load. The external dimensions of this unit are 22.2” in width, 48.9” in height, and 41.9” front-to-back.
