The Groen TD/FPC Braising Pan is an electrically heated tabletop model with a 7” deep 10-gallon pan. This model is perfect for pan frying chicken, roasting turkeys, steaming vegetables, frying short order items, sauteing, simmering, thawing, making sauces or roux, and of course, braising meat.

This unit takes up very little space with a footprint 28 ½” wide and 24” in length it will easily fit in any kitchen. In smaller restaurants, this can be the workhorse that makes large batches of diners’ favorite dishes. Larger kitchens that cater to higher volume can use this tilting braising pan for smaller volume items like sauce without underutilizing one of their larger units.

The cooking surface is a stainless steel clad ⅜” plate and has electric heating elements clamped-on and built into the body of the pan providing even heat transfer to the entire cooking surface. The interior of the braising pan prevents food from sticking with a 180 emery grit polished finish which makes cleaning a breeze.

This braising pan body is made from a single piece of highly stain resistant 304 stainless steel and the exterior has a #3 finish, this means maintaining this unit is simple and the superb finish will stand the test of time.

The handle-operated manual tilt mechanism on the Groen TD/FPC Braising Pan provides excellent control when pouring through the contoured front.  

The thermostat, indicator light, and other electrical components are protected by the drip-proof stainless steel console housing. This unit is thermostatically controlled and automatically shuts off heat delivery when the set temperature has been met and switches back on when it cools.  All Groen tilting braising pans come standard with a high limit thermostat for safety.

The Groen TD/FPC Braising Pan is made in the USA and comes in 4 different voltage configurations, make sure to choose either 480c/60/3-ph, 208/240v/60/1-ph, 208v/60/3-ph, or 240v/60/3-ph, depending on what you use in your kitchen.
