Globe C10 Description
The C10 Food Slicer from Globe is a light-duty, manual, compact unit designed for less than 30 minutes of slicing per day. Electric Food Slicers, like this one, are best used by small establishments that have very limited daily cutting needs.
The hollow ground blade is made from a special hard chromed alloy and is 10” in diameter which can accommodate food up to 6.8” in diameter or 8.6” wide. The blade has precise controls allowing for cuts up to 9/16” thick. The chute can fit food up to 7-¼” in length and easily glides for smooth cutting thanks to the ball bearings in its slide. The ergonomically designed handle provides two purposes, to adjust the end weight and to push the carriage.
The belt-driven blade is powered by a fan-cooled ¼ HP motor that features permanently lubricated ball bearings insuring a long service life.
This slicer uses standard 115v/60/1-ph electricity at 2.5 amps and comes with a 5-½-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15 plug.
