Glastender GT-18+2 Description

Glasswasher Station, side-to-side pass-thru, 60"W x 24"D O.A., 24"W glasswasher with 18"W drain tables on left & right, low temperature chemical sanitizing, washes (720) 2-1/2" diameter glasses per hour, 10" maximum glass height, intelligent microprocessor control, automatic chemical pumps, digital temperature gauge, prime switch, removable top & side panels, external chemical storage, includes (2) 16" diameter polypropylene racks & (2) curtains, stainless steel construction, stainless steel legs with adjustable feet, 1/6 HP water pump, cETLus, ETL-Sanitation

The Glastender GT-18+2 Glasswasher Station is a side-to-side pass-through model with built-in tables on either side. This allows for maximised throughput by streamlining workflow in a single direction. Simply put, this unit takes in a rack full of dirty glasses on one end, and on the other end a rack full of squeaky clean glasses comes out. When timed correctly this unit can process 720 2-½ diameter glasses per hour, that’s roughly a dozen glasses a minute.

This unit comes with 2 polyropelene racks that are 16” in diameter which allows you to unload and reload one while the other is going through a wash cycle. However, if you really want to maximize the efficiency of this unit, you should consider getting additional racks. There are standard glass racks, ones designed for stemware, and even dish racks. Having the busser load glasses directly onto racks will really maximize efficiency.

The Glastender-18+2 Glasswasher Station has a simple control panel that displays the water temperature with a digital readout and has buttons for operating the unit.  The microprocessor inside the control panel allows the water supply to run until the water reaches 120°F before filling the wash basin. Peristaltic pumps automatically deliver precise amounts of detergent, sanitizer and rinse aid during a wash cycle. As the glass tray rotates a ⅙ HP recirculation pump delivers water to 15 spray nozzles which pressurize the hot water to efficiently clean dirt off the glasses. Only around 2-½ gallons of water is used per cycle.

This unit doesn’t have a dedicated water heater which reduces its overall size making it easier to install in cramped spaces. With a removable top, glass rack, and side panels, this unit is very easy to maintain and kept clean.

The majority of the hardware in this glasswasher station is made from stainless steel. The drive wheel uses 11 gauge stainless steel while the legs and leg mounting brackets are made from 16 gauge, the tanks and floor are made from 18 gauge and the cabinet is made from 20 gauge.  The Glastender GT-18+2 is 38-½” tall, 60” wide, and 24” from front to back. The unit stands on 7” tubular legs and is kept level with 4 adjustable bullet feet.

This unit uses a ½” water supply adapted with a ⅜” FMPT fitting. To properly operate the water must be between 120°F and 150°F and the water pressure needs to be between 25 PSI and 100 PSI. For Maximum drainage from its 1-½” tailpiece, an open type floor drain is recommended. Bottles for detergent, rinse aid, and sanitizer care are stored externally and supply the unit through 3 6-foot lengths of tubing.

This unit uses 120v/60/1-ph power and draws 3.5 amps of power. It has a 6-foot long grounded power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug and should be installed to its own dedicated 15.0 amp circuit.

The Glastender GT-18+2 Glasswasher has cETLus and ETL-Sanitation certification.
