The Blodgett 981-961 is a two-section deck-type gas oven that features two 7" baking compartments at the top and an additional 7" compartment at the bottom section. With a total of 87,000 BTU, this unit can offer tons of cooking power to get you through day after day of orders. For excellent resistance to high heat, the commercial oven is aluminized steel on the inside from the compartment lining and the combustion chamber to the 42" wide and 32" deep decks on each compartment that offer a great amount of space for a large batch of food items. Each section can cook at temperatures ranging from 200 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit adjustable from the liquid pressure thermostat.

Built to get the heavy work done, this deck oven has a stainless steel top, sides, front, and back that don’t chip, rust, stain, or discolor even with minimal cleaning. Full-angle iron frames enhance the structure while the help of the vitreous fiber that also insulates the cooking chambers so that food is cooked thoroughly and efficiently. The heavy-duty doors have a counterbalanced and chrome-plated tubular handle so you can painlessly load and unload the chambers throughout the day. The base is a set of four (4) 7" tall stainless steel legs that can be adjusted to better fit your space. 

Each section has its own free-floating duplex-tube burner and orifices that can be easily removed for maintenance or replacement. The air shutters can be adjusted to the best position to generate optimal quality of flame. All these components are situated behind dedicated burner doors that can be quickly opened without having to remove any fastening. The front corners of each section are dedicated to the set of valves, which are ventilated and covered for safety.

The Blodgett 981-961 gas deck-type oven comes with natural gas and liquid propane models. The unit meets cETLus and NSF standards for safe commercial use.
