The drawers located under the worktop are easily accessed with painted aluminum handles. Accessing the drawers is smooth and effortless with stainless steel drawer frames with telescoping drawer slides. Each drawer can fit pans up to 6” deep for ingredients and warm air is kept out with snap-in gaskets. Workers in a rush will appreciate that each drawer has a locking mechanism that keeps them from being accidentally pulled out of the cabinet.

The reach-in section features two epoxy-coated steel wire shelves to keep items organized and easy to access. To prevent the doors from being left ajar the door is self-closing. To keep the door’s seal airtight a snap-in door gasket is included. When workers need to access multiple items the door can be opened to 120˚ to activate the stay-open feature. This allows users to use both hands.

At the base of this worktop freezer, the self-contained refrigeration system provides efficient cooling with a ½ HP compressor that produces 1865 BTU/hr of cooling. To make sure the refrigeration system will run reliably for many years the evaporator coil features an epoxy coating. This along with the fully electronic controls on the unit allow it to maintain a temperature below 0ºF efficiently. Defrosting is accomplished automatically with an electric system, this reduces downtime while keeping the interior free of frost. The refrigerant used is R290, an environmentally-friendly hydrocarbon that meets all environmental regulations and minimizes its impact on the atmosphere.

6” casters are included making the unit simple to move for cleaning or maintenance. The front casters are locking to prevent the unit from moving around when in production. An 8’ power cord is provided with a NEMA 5-15-P plug set to connect it to a standard outlet with 115/60/1-ph power at 7.0 amps.
