The Beverage Air WTFD48AHC-2-FIP Worktop Freezer provides operators with a dual-purpose piece of equipment that is both a sturdy worktable reinforced with foamed-in-place insulation for plating orders and a reliable freezer that keeps frozen items close at hand. 11.04 cu. ft. of refrigerated space is easy to access while staying out of the way below the worktop. The stainless steel worktop was specifically designed to handle commercial workloads day in and day out.

Stainless steel drawer frames on telescoping slides allow both drawers to open smoothly when accessed with the easy to grasp painted aluminum handles. The drawers can fit 6” deep pans for loose ingredients and snap-in gaskets seal in the cool air. To keep users from accidentally pulling drawers out of the cabinet, each drawer has a locking mechanism.

The single reach-in section is easy to access through a stainless steel door that has a self-closing feature to save on electrical costs. Inside the reach-in section, two epoxy-coated wire shelves are included to maximize the usable space. When users need to access multiple items the door has a stay-open feature that is activated when the door is opened to 120˚. To ensure an airtight seal, the door features a snap-in gasket.

A ½ HP compressor producing 1865 BTU/hr of cooling is housed in a self-contained bottom-mounted refrigeration unit to save space. An epoxy coated-coated evaporator coil will make sure the refrigeration system will provide efficient cooling for many years. The temperature is maintained at below 0ºF efficiently by the fully electronic controls on this model. Environmentally-friendly R290 refrigerant provides efficient cooling while meeting all environmental regulations. Automatic electric defrosting makes sure downtime is kept to a minimum while keeping the inside from frosting over. 

The unit conveniently comes with 6” casters from the factory, this allows it to be easily moved into and out of place. The front casters are locking which keeps it in place when it’s in use. Power is supplied to the unit with a factory wired 8-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug set to connect it to a standard outlet that provides 115v/60/1-ph power at 7.0 amps.
